Born in Joliet, Illinois, Dr. Anderson embarked on his journey in dentistry after graduating from Western Illinois University. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree in 1993.
During his time at dental school, Dr. Anderson married his college sweetheart Teresa and pursued extracurricular studies in sports dentistry, collaborating with the UIC basketball and hockey teams. Upon graduation, he was awarded one of only eleven scholarships from the United States Army, leading him to serve as a dental officer at Fort Bragg in North Carolina for three years.
Dr. Anderson’s professional journey eventually brought him back to Illinois, where he practiced dentistry in Bloomington/Normal before settling in Peoria in 1999. Here, he took over Dr. Miller’s practice and became partners with Dr. Evelyn Nord, sharing a deep love for dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has been actively involved in various professional organizations, including the American Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Peoria District Dental Society.
