After a brief period in general dental practice, including a year at Shaughnessy Hospital, he pursued a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Virginia, finishing in 1993.

Dr. Crowley is certified by the British Columbia, Canadian, and American boards and has been practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery since completing his residency.
